About me
Melissa Salbert is a marketing professional who is passionate about the beverage and restaurant industry. She graduated from Southern Methodist University with a degree in Advertising and Italian Language, and began her career as an account manager for a graphic design agency. Her passion for food led her to a role at a boutique grocery store chain where she managed the marketing department. She then moved toward the hospitality industry, where she found her true passion, and spent nearly 10 years working for Patrick Henry Creative Promotions. During her time at PHCP, Melissa assisted with beverage programming and strategy for clients such as The Melting Pot, Joe’s Crab Shack, Buffalo Wild Wings, Hard Rock, Ruby Tuesday, TGI Fridays, Applebee’s, World of Beer, Logan’s Roadhouse, and most notably, Hooters of America. Her passion for marketing opened the door to a new role with Hooters of America as the Sr. Director of Brand Marketing. In her current role, she oversees national brand partnerships, manages corporate and franchisee marketing programs, plans and executes the International Hooters Pageant + Conference, assists with merchandising and apparel partnerships, and manages the beverage program. She loves trying new restaurants, seeing live music, hiking, practicing yoga, and traveling.
